Foothill Boulevard Bridge Widening over San Dimas Wash

CITY OF SAN DIMAS

Southstar provided construction management services for the Foothill Boulevard Bridge Widening Project over the San Dimas Wash. This project consisted of: widening the existing structure for both west and east bound traffic; added a 5-foot bike lane and an 8-foot shoulder to improve pedestrian
safety and tie in with the existing east and west bound approaches by widening the existing structures; and an installation of a water main on Foothill.
Throughout the construction duration, one-way traffic was maintained on Foothill Boulevard, along with continuous access to the businesses and residents. This project was 100% Federally funded and was performed under close oversight from the Caltrans District 7 Construction Division. Southstar supported the City in the preparation of all invoicing and needed documentation of the Local Assistance Procedures Manual for proper reimbursement of funds.
