The GCCOG is a California Joint Powers Authority that represents the governments of 28 jurisdictions located in the Metro subregion. The GCCOG’s mission is to provide member governments with a unified voice to act collaboratively and advocate to improve issues related to transportation, air quality, housing, and economic development.  Southstar, via our Project Management and Engineering expertise, is assisting the GCCOG in the furthering of their Transportation Initiatives, including the oversight management of the Strategic Transportation Plan, the I-710 EIR/EIS and Early Action Projects, and the I-605/405/91 Hot Spots Project.  Project Management duties include working with Metro, Caltrans and all GCCOG jurisdictions to help deliver important transportation projects as well as to assist in the project development project with the goal of the GCCOG jurisdiction receiving funds to implement their projects.
