This $15 million project improved Archibald Avenue between East Oak Hill Drive and Monticello Place at the State Route 60 (SR 60) interchange, located in the City of Ontario in San Bernardino County. Proposed improvements included widening Archibald Avenue to add a northbound left-turn lane to the westbound on-ramp and an additional southbound left-turn lane to the eastbound on-ramp. This widening also extended an additional storage lane south of the interchange for northbound traffic accessing the westbound on-ramp. The westbound and eastbound off-ramps were also widened to accommodate an additional left-turn lane.

In addition, right-turn pockets in the northbound and southbound directions were added approaching the eastbound and westbound on-ramps. Services included: participation in the evaluation of scheduling; constructability reviews; utility coordination; construction project advertising, bid analysis, and award; construction inspection; surveying; materials testing; source inspection; landscape inspection; contractor interface and contract administration; office engineering; coordinating with local ongoing projects, and other assorted duties as appropriate in managing the construction of the Caltrans oversight and city roadway improvement project.
